ABOUT THE SCHOOL
The Senior Study II Amritsar was started in 1984 with the aim of imparting quality education to the students of Amritsar. It was upgraded to Secondary level in the year 2000 and to Senior Secondary in 2006. The school boasts of excellent facilities for academics, sports and extracurricular activities. The students who pass out from the school, excel in whichever field they decide to follow, as they can think clearly & logically, live honorably & courageously, give willingly & generously & forgive lovingly and graciously. In fact, the school equips these citizens of tomorrow to both, make a living & to make their life, as they are able to welcome; respect & enjoy new challenges, different cultures & opposing opinions.
The highly qualified faculty of the school are deeply concerned to make their students critical thinker & problem solver & not mere memory banks of text book information. The school has a conducive atmosphere where ideas & views of the children are not constrained by preconception. Students take part in dramatics, debates, declamations, poetry recitation, art & crafts competition, sports & matches & win laurels for the school. They recognize their limitations but focus on the possibilities. In this school, the students are taught the special lessons that all goals are achievable but what is needed is commitment & then anything can be achieved.
